Saturday - 05/01/2021 — I never ever could win when my kids and I played rock paper scissors—mostly because I could never remember the motions, so I almost always put out a fisted rock hand. They quickly figured me out and splayed their little fingers into the paper that could cover my rock.
On the few times I managed to spread my fingers, they somehow or other managed to abandon their paper and create a fist-rock that would squash my scissors.
Memories of those games we played always bring joy to my heart, but I wish I’d had this meme to show them all those many years ago. The way that paper really CAN beat rock.
